Enough to house thousands of stories and many languages to tell them in. That’s the idea underlying ‘City of Stories’, a wide-ranging federation of cultural and social actors,
initiated by Passa Porta, Foire du Livre, Le 140, Muntpunt, Picture Festival, La Ville des Mots 2021 and Chaire Mahmoud Darwich/Bozar.
So that Brussels becomes a city of 1001 stories.
On 21 March, to mark the first day of the City of Stories (there will be five of them this spring), Passa Porta is offering to deliver stories to your home or elsewhere. As with a pizza or parcel, you place your order online (form available soon), and an actor will deliver the story to your home at the chosen time. Several languages are available! What’s more, you can give a story to a third party, as long as you make sure they’ll be home at the agreed time. In this way, we can reconnect through words, texts and ideas, without taking any risks with the virus.
